Jim Boehner

Pastor of Men's Ministries
My journey began in Willmar, MN. I grew up in church! I invited Christ into my life at the age of five and have endeavored to follow Him throughout my life. My parents were both very active and committed to the local church. That model of commitment was stamped in my sisters and me. When the doors of the church were open - we were there! Church came first. There was never a discussion about that and never a compromise. Sunday was a day reserved for nothing but going to church. The values and truths instilled in me came through the years of going to Sunday School, Youth Groups, morning and evening services and singing in choirs from the Kid's Choir to the Sanctuary Choir. That prepared me for the next step. God's Calling: God's calling on my life to enter the ministry happened in my Senior year of High School. Sitting in a Sunday evening service, I was convicted that a choice I had made, that would have further propelled my musical career, was not God's plan for me. He made it clear that I was to further prepare for the ministry. That choice changed the trajectory of my life! I traveled from Seattle to Springfield, Missouri where I spent four years studying and preparing for church ministry at Central Bible College. Upon graduation in May 1969, 1 accepted my first Pastoral position in Santa Rosa, CA. On August 23rd of that year, we were married. In 1981, Brent became a part of our life and now we have a daughter-in-law and a Grandson!
